Al-Futtaim Toyota has finally announced the arrival of the much-awaited Land Cruiser GR 300 SPORT model. Combining the best of luxury features a powerful all-terrain performance, the GR SPORT variant holds an iconic status in the Middle East. Enthusiasts have been anticipating this legendary variant since the launch of the All-New Land Cruiser 2022 in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 20th<\/sup> September 2021, Al-Futtaim Toyota released an official announcement regarding the availability of the latest Land Cruiser GR SPORT in the Emirates. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by Toyota Gazoo Racing (GR), the GR SPORT 300 model\u2019s development was backed not just by Toyota\u2019s own experience of manufacturing motorsport vehicles, but also by the feedback from drivers participating in these events. The vehicle is created to deliver the ultimate rally performance without compromising the overall driving experience even on the toughest terrains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

LAND CRUISER GR SPORT SPECIFICATIONS <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Toyota Land Cruiser GR SPORT is lighter in weight from the previous models by 200 kg and comparatively sturdier. To achieve this, Toyota adopted a new GA-F platform based on TNGA and re-worked the features. The all-new model has an enhanced suspension structure and low centre of gravity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The V8 engine is replaced by a twin-turbo 3.5 litres V6 engine for ultimate performance on all types of terrains. The turbo engine is mated with Direct Shift \u2013 10AT (10-speed automatic transmission to minimise carbon dioxide emissions. The maximum output expected from GR SPORT 2022 is 305 KW and can handle 650 Nm torque. The fuel tank capacity is 1100 litres and the fuel efficiency is 9.3 KM\\L. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

FEATURES <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The off-roading enthusiasts would love the fact that the conventional off-road performance is backed by advanced features in the GR SPORT. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Torque Sensing limited-slip differential is installed in the all-new model to provide better performance on various off-road tracks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 3D-Multi-Terrain Monitor (3D-MTM) let the driver know about the obstacles and road conditions. This is a new feature in Toyota that ensures motorists can easily manoeuvre low-speed, safely. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whereas, the new AUTO mode has enhanced the Multi-Terrain Select, as it senses the terrain type and surface and then shifts to the suitable driving mode. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Electronic- Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (E-KDSS) gives Toyota Land Cruiser GR SPORT an edge over other series. E-KDSS is an exclusive feature introduced in the GR SPORT. With this feature, drivers not only enjoy comfort and stability on off-road terrains but on smooth, structured roads. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Land Cruiser GR SPORT 300 2022 also comes with turn assist functions and crawl control<\/a> as driver-assist features to enhance stability on difficult terrains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The outside of the all-new Land Cruiser 300 2022 is designed to prevent the vehicle from damage while off-roading. The bumper shape and light positions on the exterior keep the vehicle intact. To add to the outlook of the GT SPORT 300 2022 model, there are special rear mudguards, a special emblem on the rear, front and side, decals on the lower back door, radiator grille, high-end wheel arch and rocker mouldings. Not to mention the vehicle\u2019s name emblem is found on the exterior body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Land Cruiser GR SPORT interior of this 7-seater features a start-up screen, genuine leather-wrap steering wheel, switches for operational comfort, horizontal instrument panel to capture GR SPORT 300 position while off-roading. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of the exterior body features and parts are the same as the previous model, to keep up with the off-roading performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADVANCED SAFETY FEATURES <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The all-new Toyota Land Cruiser GR SPORT 2022 model is fully equipped with standard and advanced safety features. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aside from the Toyota Safety Sense active package, it has two new cutting-edge safety functions in the pre-collision system. It alerts the drivers about the oncoming vehicles and pedestrians when the vehicle is turning at intersections. Emergency steering and crash avoidance is another safety feature triggered when the driver manoeuvres the steering to avoid a collision. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new Parking Support Brake in the GR SPORT detects obstacles at the back and front of the vehicle and prevents accidents in parking areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
