It featured a binocular-styled instrument panel with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubizzle.com\/blog\/cars\/car-speedometer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">speedometer<\/a> in the middle. Moreover, there was an LCD screen for computer output and a tachometer was placed on the side. A stereo and a TomTom navigation system were also available for the first generation of this SUV. The rear folding seats had a 40\/20\/40 split ratio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first-generation Mazda CX-5 was available in three 2.0-litre engine options. Two of them offered all-wheel drive (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubizzle.com\/blog\/cars\/awd-in-cars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AWD<\/a>) with 160 hp, one with a 6-speed automatic and the other with a 6-speed manual transmission. The third variant featured front-wheel drive (FWD) with a 6-speed manual transmission and delivered slightly more power at 165 hp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-first-generation-facelift-2014-2015\">First Generation Facelift (2014-2015)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mazda CX-5 history had its first facelift for the 2016 model year. The SUV received major exterior upgrades such as a new front <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubizzle.com\/blog\/cars\/car-grilles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">car grille<\/a> and new headlamps. New side scoops complemented the front bumper and were flanked by horizontal slats. The CX-5 also received new light-alloy wheels. Varying with the trim level, LEDs were added and the tailights came with clear lenses.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the inside, the vents were covered with aluminium trims. The car also featured Mazda\u2019s HMI system. There were two 2.0-litre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubizzle.com\/blog\/cars\/mazda-skyactiv-technology\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mazda SKYACTIV<\/a>-G AWD versions with 160 hp, one with a 6-speed automatic and one with a 6-speed manual transmission. A 2.0-litre FWD version was also available with a 6-speed manual and slightly higher power at 165 hp. For more performance, there was a 2.5-litre SKYACTIV-G AWD model with a 6-speed automatic transmission producing 192 hp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-second-generation-2017-present\">Second Generation (2017-Present)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The second generation of the Mazda CX-5 history came out in 2017. The car had already made a name for itself in the relevant segment and was well-received for its design.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the front, the design featured sleek LED headlights and modern <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubizzle.com\/blog\/cars\/fog-lights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fog lights<\/a>. The rear stood out with bold, sharp-looking LED taillights. From the side, the CX-5 had a shape similar to BMW\u2019s SUVs.
