The new traffic laws expand the number of driving <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubizzle.com\/blog\/cars\/dubai-vehicle-impounding-laws\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">offences which can lead to vehicle impoundment<\/a> in the city. These offences include mobile phone use, suddenly swerving, tailgating and many more. Showcasing poor lane discipline can also lead to heavy fines and penalties such as black points and vehicle confiscation. These new rules are to be imposed with immediate effect on the roads of Dubai. The latest legislation states that any of these 14 offences can result in up to 30 days of vehicle confiscations among other penalties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-violations-that-can-lead-to-14-or-30-day-impoundment\"><strong>Violations That can Lead to 14 or 30-day Impoundment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The new federal traffic law covers 14 driving offences that are punishable by up to 30 days of impoundment.
