This marked the beginning of Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross&#8217;s history. It was introduced as a crossover compact coupe.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Eclipse Cross featured qualities of both an SUV and a sports car. It had a high-ground clearance like an SUV.&nbsp;Its design included aspects frequently seen in different <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubizzle.com\/blog\/cars\/sports-cars-types\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">types of sports cars<\/a> such as a bold front fascia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, the slanted roofline and angled rear gave it a sharp coupe-like shape. At the rear end, the Eclipse cross carried a roof spoiler along with a small lip in the middle of the liftgate. You could access this system with the help of a 7-inch touchpad located between the front seats. For more legroom or trunk space, the seats could recline and slide. On the other hand, the other versions featured all-wheel drive technology. Eclipse Cross bore a 1.5-litre petrol engine providing a power output of 150 horsepower.
