It was when Hyundai officially introduced Genesis Motors as a standalone luxury brand. It also signalled a decisive departure from its Hyundai lineage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2015-2018-the-rise-of-genesis-motors\">2015- 2018 &#8211; The Rise of Genesis Motors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once Genesis Motors history began as a distinctive car brand chapter, it began rolling out diverse <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubizzle.com\/blog\/cars\/luxury-car-features\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">luxury vehicles<\/a>. It unveiled its first independent model, the G90 (EQ900), in December 2015, establishing a design language for future Genesis vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In late 2016, Genesis made its debut in the United States with the introduction of the G80 and G90 sedans. However, they were initially sold through select Hyundai dealerships. Throughout 2017, Genesis focused on refining its brand image.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also renamed the second-generation Hyundai Genesis sedan to the G80. The brand has also prioritised a diverse product portfolio to appeal to a wider audience of car buyers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The brand developed its first SUV models, the GV70 and GV80, introduced around 2018 or 2019.
