Since its launch, the Road and Transport Authority (RTA) Dubai has strived to improve the system and streamline all the processes. From recharging Salik in Dubai to its payment, everything can be managed through multiple online and offline channels.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here is a detailed guide covering everything you need to know about Salik Dubai. Let&#8217;s start with the location of Salik Gates in Dubai. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"Salik-Gates-in-Dubai\">Salik Gates in Dubai&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubizzle.com\/blog\/cars\/new-salik-toll-gates-dubai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Salik toll gates<\/a> have different charges for peak and off-peak hours. All you have to do is purchase a Salik tag and RFID installed at various Salik toll points will detect and scan it. Drivers need to stick the tag to the windshield of the vehicle, around 1 cm under the rear-view mirror. This will require you to fill a registration form available at several locations throughout the city, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>RTA Customer Service Centres<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Petrol stations such as\u00a0 EPPCO\/ ENOC, Emarat and ADNOC petrol stations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Banks such as\u00a0Emirates NBD Bank and Dubai Islamic Bank branches<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"How-to-register-Salik\">How to register Salik&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>As you are required to register for a Salik tag, here is a brief breakdown of the process:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fill out the registration form available at any of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dubizzle.com\/blog\/cars\/all-about-rta-dubai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RTA<\/a> Salik outlets. You can also apply online.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After you submit the required documents, fees along this form, the authorities verify the information before handing you the Salik kit that contains the tag.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You fix the tag on the windshield of your car\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once your information is in the RTA\u2019s system, you will receive your PIN and account number via an SMS. This means even if you have multiple cars registered, you will have a single Salik account for them.
