It controls the throttle response, transmission shift points, 4WD system<\/a>, traction control system and electronic stability control providing higher vehicle response. How to Turn on BAJA Mode<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The GMC BAJA mode can be activated through the Mode Knob present at the centre console. Rotate the knob, and a setting bar will pop up on the infotainment screen. Select the BAJA mode and confirm the modification of the electronic stability control system<\/a>. The electronic stability control system is optimised after the activation of BAJA mode to regulate the vehicle\u2019s performance. Alongside this, the activation of BAJA mode will also activate dynamic performance mode. Once the dynamic mode is activated, the transmission will hold the current gear after releasing the throttle, resulting in greater engine braking. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
