Sharjah Police also decided to waive off vehicle impoundment penalties and cancel black points for the specified period. Earlier in 2022, on the 51st UAE National Day, motorists in Sharjah had the option to avail a 50% discount on traffic fines in the Emirate. Traffic violations (minus serious offences) committed before December 1, 2022, were applicable for the 50% fine reduction. - They can clear traffic fines via ‘Sahl’ payment kiosks installed in public places and shopping malls
- They can go to the Sharjah police centres personally and pay to clear fines
