You can also get your plate registered through Happiness Centers at different locations.

Purchasing Special Number Plates
Other than registration of special plate numbers, car owners are also provided an option to purchase it from an auction and RTA-approved number plate dealers. Both the ways are legal and permitted by the government to increase the convenience of car owners.
Auction
People not only can purchase their desired cars from auction in Dubai, but also special plate numbers. The auction can be attended in both ways digitally and physically. However, you have to pay a certain security amount as a cheque and auction attendance fees. The latest and most expensive number plate ‘AA9’ was sold for AED 38 million making a new world record. The auction attendance fees for digital is AED 100 and free for physical. Whereas, the security deposit for online and physical auction is AED 5,000. The security deposit amount is refundable once the owner pays the actual amount of the plate number.
