As the automotive industry is all set to manufacture all electric vehicles (EV), Jaguar has decided to join the league in the year 2025. The automaker is all geared up to launch its new all-electric vehicles with a dedicated EV platform, named Panthera.
Since Jaguar plans to go all-electric in 2025, it does not plan to launch any new model in the market. This is because they plan to integrate a new EV platform. With Jaguar Panthera, they plan to introduce a unique platform.

The idea to introduce a new EV platform is actually part of their Reimagine Electrification Plan announced in 2021.
With this plan in motion, the launch of the electric Jaguar XJ sedan was cancelled. However, in its place the company will launch six new all-electric SUVs by 2027. Besides, the all-electric Jaguar I-Pace SUV will make a comeback in the year 2022, as of February 2022, with a better interface and fast charging ability. Also, the company plans to continue this model’s production even after the launch of a new EV line in 2025.
