Third Generation E38 (1994 to 2001)

Fourth Generation E65, E67 & E68 (2001 to 2008)
For the first time in the history of the BMW 7 Series, the vehicle was completely redesigned. The fourth generation 7 Series featured a large kidney-shaped radiator grille with vertical bars and adaptive headlights. Inside the cabin, the BMW iDrive was embedded increasing the convenience of occupants.
The 6.0-litre engine was accompanied by a 6-speed automatic transmission system and can generate a total of 445 hp.
Fifth Generation F01 – F02 (2008 to 2015)
This time, BMW again redesigned the 7 Series offering a blend of signature and modern design cues. The fifth generation 7 Series features narrow headlights and a large kidney-shaped radiator grille. A long hood, low roof line and chrome strips complete the sporty appearance of the car.

Sixth Generation G11 – G12 (2015 to 2022)

The signature radiator grille present at the front fascia was sandwiched between swept-back headlights. Whereas, flat LED brake lights were present at the rear end connected by a narrow LED strip. For added strength, the body was manufactured from a combination of aluminium, steel and carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic.

Current Generation of BMW 7 Series (2022 to Present)
The current generation of BMW 7 Series is an epitome of luxury and style. The front fascia features a signature radiator grille with illuminating vertical bars stretching from the upper bumper to the lower one. The narrow headlights contain elements of Swarovski crystal, increasing its illumination. Similarly, the rear end also features narrow brake lights and a large air intake on the lower bumper.
