2023 BMW IX5 HYDROGEN PERFORMANCE SPECS
The fuel-cell Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) requires hydrogen to function. This all-new SAV features a fuel cell stored in the two 700-bar tanks. Moreover, the tanks use carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP). The hydrogen fuel cells can hold up to six kilograms of hydrogen and provide a range of around 504 kilometres.
Thanks to the highly-efficient fuel cell technology, the unit generates 170 hp. Moreover, mated with the fifth-generation BMW eDrive technology, the all-new iX5 Hydrogen offers a combined power of 401 hp.
Available with a rear-wheel drive, this fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) is a step forward towards carbon dioxide-free mobility for daily use. When it comes to driving dynamics, the SAV features several car driving modes to enhance the vehicle’s adaptability to different conditions.
2023 BMW IX5 HYDROGEN EXTERIOR
The BMW iX5 Hydrogen features a sporty and aerodynamic exterior design. Moreover, it is equipped with 22-inch wheels made of natural rubber and rayon. BMW has become the first automobile manufacturer to use Pirelli tyres (made from natural rubber and wood-based material rayon).
The outer portion of the wheels is in the BMW iBlue. Besides, BMW’s iconic kidney grille has mesh inserts for air openings at the front. This car grille covers the lower and two outer air inlets. Plus, the diffuser element on the rear has a unique design. BMW used 3D printing to produce the standard parts of this SAV.

The SAV sports a ‘hydrogen fuel cell’ badge at the door entry sills and covers. The iX5 Hydrogen houses Dynamic Digital Instrument Cluster and Central Information Display to optimise connectivity and entertainment.
Moreover, the SAV offers spacious cargo space and a seating capacity for 5 passengers. That said, the luxury SAV BMW iX5 Hydrogen ensures a dynamic and powerful driving experience alongside a comfortable interior.
PRICE OF THE 2023 BMW IX5 HYDROGEN IN THE UAE
